Spanish Language Day, celebrated on April 23, is an important date recognized by the UN since 2010.
It is relevant in the calendar of Spanish teachers for many reasons. It is World Book and Copyright Day, and coincides with the celebration of the anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes, one of the most iconic writers in the Spanish language.
It is also the day when teachers take their students to different extracurricular activities with the aim of knowing and disseminating their history and culture.
On this day, several representatives of Spanish-speaking countries gathered at the Crystal School in Talatona, for a linguistic exchange between students and Spanish-speaking representatives and even the reading of a story by Maria Elena Walsh.
